Ubisoft Annecy seeks an experienced Technical Animation Director to lead tool development and pipeline improvements across in-game animation, rigging, motion capture, and cinematics. You will optimize animation graphs, resolve engine constraints, and liaison between animation and programming teams to ensure high-quality, efficient workflows.
You should have a strong background as an Animation TD in games, expert knowledge of real-time systems, and proficiency with MotionBuilder and Maya, plus

Directly reporting to the Technical Director, Pipeline, the person in this role is responsible for identifying, preparing, and adapting the tools that will be used throughout production on the Animation side, including Animation Graphs (behavior trees).
Technical and artistic innovation does not intimidate you it will be a key part of achieving the desired level of quality.
A strong background as an Animation Technical Director, preferably in the video game industry.
