Virtuos Labs – Lyon is seeking a Lead Graphics Developer to maintain, develop and optimize AAA-quality graphics systems in proprietary engines or Unreal Engine, reporting to the Technical Director. You will lead a team of graphics developers, establish strategy and milestones, mentor staff, and collaborate with Tech Art, Art, Production, Gameplay, and Design to ensure high-quality integration.

This role offers the chance to work on prestigious titles from Lyon's office, with relocation support

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Lead position.
• 3+ years in graphics development for games or equivalent.
• Familiar with Unreal Engine 5, graphics workflow and features.
• Familiar with one or more Graphics API (Direct3D 12, Vulkan).
• Strong programming knowledge in C++ and OOP.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with Technical Directors to align on project progress and objectives.
• Establish strategy, milestones, and staffing plans for Graphics Developers.
• Mentor and support Graphics Developers throughout assignments.
• Drive implementation and optimization of graphics workflows and tools for CPU/GPU.
• Ensure smooth integration between gameplay and visuals for graphics features.
• Collaborate with Tech Art, Art, Production, Gameplay and Design for high-quality integration.
• Provide technical support including debugging and optimization assistance.
• Lead graphics project strategies to maintain a coherent technical vision across projects.
