Job summary

Jobgether seeks an Associate Director, Project Management in France to lead a high-performing PM team within an international clinical research environment. You will drive strategic planning, resource allocation, and portfolio oversight while ensuring quality and sponsor satisfaction.

You will mentor PMs, optimize processes, and collaborate with senior leadership to align delivery with business objectives in a remote-capable role offering flexible scheduling and global collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical project management or clinical research; PMP is an asset.
• At least 7 years of combined experience in clinical research and project management.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial delivery and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH, and regulatory requirements (FDA/Health Canada).
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate PM teams and succession planning.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and improving processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Travel up to 10% and EU work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the Project Management function aligned with strategy.
• Lead, coach, and manage Project Managers across career levels.
• Partner with Project Directors on staffing, scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery across the portfolio and meet sponsor expectations.
• Oversee KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor PMs in proactive planning, stakeholder management, and issue resolution.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Promote use of trial management systems and technology platforms.
• Ensure SOPs, GCP, ICH, and regulatory compliance; support audits.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and governance.
