Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not essential.
• Culinary school qualification is an advantage.
• Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the production of dishes according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie during food preparation and service.
• Maintain your workstation in a clean, organized, and hygienic condition at all times.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored and rotated according to FIFO procedures.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Help prepare mise en place for daily service, events, and special functions.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Minimize food waste by following portion control and preparation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support other kitchen sections when required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs.
• Follow all company grooming, health & safety, and operational standards.
