Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to facilitate adoption of its products among customers and collaborate to address complex technical challenges. You will help deploy GenAI solutions, working across consumer and industrial use cases, and partner with researchers, engineers and pre-sales teams to ensure robust, scalable implementations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on AI-based products
• Experience implementing AI or ML products with APIs, backend and frontend interfaces
• Deep understanding of ML/LLM concepts and algorithms
• Strong Python coding skills
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Deploy into production use cases with significant business impact across industries
• Work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications with customers across products and use cases
• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers and product engineers on complex projects including fine-tuning and LLMs
• Provide technical guidance during pre-sales calls and explain Mistral technologies to stakeholders
• Collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on feedback
