Mistral is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI systems across multiple departments. You will work where product, engineering and business intersect, turning complex requirements into scalable solutions that deliver measurable ROI.

You will lead end-to-end development of full-stack apps (Python/FastAPI, React) and AI systems, while ensuring data observability, security, and clean architecture. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years building and deploying production AI software.
• Strong full-stack engineering with Python/TypeScript and scalable backends.
• Experience with GenAI use cases: RAG, agents, workflows.
• Excellent communication in fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Run discovery with department heads and key users to map workflows and prioritize use-cases.
• Deliver end-to-end: design and ship production-grade full-stack apps (Python/FastAPI, React).
• Encode business rules, KPIs, and ROI metrics as durable data assets and logic.
• Dogfood the latest Mistral products and feed credible roadmap input.
• Own architecture for your surface to keep it scalable, secure, and observable.
• Spot patterns across departments and lift one-off solutions into reusable blocks.
