Job summary

Resilience Care seeks an Analytics Engineer to build data foundations and scalable analytics tooling. You’ll develop backend features for the Research Data Platform, maintain dbt models, and work with clinical and business teams to deliver value.

You’ll be part of a small team in a remote-friendly environment, focusing on automation, data quality, and robust engineering practices to enable trusted insights for researchers and care teams.

Qualifications

• Ship production-grade Python with tests, code quality and reviews.
• Build and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI/Flask/Django or equivalent.
• Data modelling with advanced SQL to deliver production dbt models.
• Leverage AI tools as a multiplier while maintaining engineering ownership.
• Deploy and operate what you build with containers and CI/CD.
• Implement data tests and alerting to troubleshoot data quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Build backend features for the Research Data Platform (Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL).
• Build & maintain dbt models to keep data model robust for self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with Research/Clinical/Business users to iterate quickly and deliver value.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, and engineering standards improvement.
• Support BI solutions such as dashboards and business analysis.
• Contribute to metrics governance via a semantic layer (Cube.js).
• Automate recurring reporting tasks and improve tooling with AI responsibly.
