Job summary

Mistral is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Engineering organization in Paris. You will drive the delivery of high-impact technical programs, plan and oversee complex initiatives, and work across Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of features and deployments.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, process optimization, and proactive risk management in a fast-moving AI environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Proven experience managing technical programs in an engineering team.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and deployment.
• Excellent project management with ability to run multiple programs smoothly.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• Proactive problem-solver with continuous improvement mindset.
• Design thinking mindset with comfort contributing to architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage development and deployment processes to align with product timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Science, Marketing/Comms, Design, and Solutions teams to ensure alignment of engineering operations with product goals.
• Track project progress, timelines and resources; help teams implement delivery processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on status, risks, and issues.
