Job summary

Mistral.ai is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Engineering organization in Paris. You will drive delivery of high-impact technical programs, plan and oversee complex initiatives, and collaborate across product, engineering, science and design teams to align with strategic goals.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, manage dependencies, optimize processes and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with a strong focus on quality and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)
• Proven experience in managing technical programs within an engineering team
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and deployment processes

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage development and deployment processes to ensure efficiency and timely delivery
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Science, Marketing/Comms, Design and Solutions teams to align operations with product and business goals
• Track project progress, timelines and resources; help teams implement smoother delivery processes
• Identify process improvements to boost engineering efficiency and productivity with other TPMs
• Regularly communicate program status, risks and issues to stakeholders and manage expectations
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
