Propellerhead is seeking a Technical Strategist to lead the architecture of complex software platforms. The role emphasizes AI-assisted delivery, architectural guidance, and close collaboration with Product Strategists to shape technical direction for client products.

You will guide design, standards and tooling, and work with executives to ensure alignment with our strategy. Hybrid work is offered, with in-office attendance required in Auckland.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with the development of multi-tier and distributed applications.
• Agentic-first: using AI to prototype and direct AI-assisted delivery pipelines.
• Strong communicator and presenter to senior client stakeholders.
• Experience with React UIs and services written in C#, plus familiarity with Typescript, Java, Go and Rust.
• Hands-on design of Azure-based solutions, CI/CD pipelines and operations instrumentation.

Responsabilités

• Authoring, reviewing and communicating solution architecture with development teams.
• Championing Propellerhead's technical strategy across portfolios.
• Building trusted relationships with client decision-makers and explaining design decisions.
• Be the go-to technical expert for client solutions and pre-requisites for delivery.
• Developing strategies for speed-to-value, security, reliability and performance.
• Facilitating evolution from C# to Rust and AI-assisted tooling.
