Believe is seeking a Staff AI Engineer in Core Engineering to design and build the systems behind intelligent automation, agentic workflows and large-scale retrieval. You will lead the creation of robust frameworks, write production-grade code and shape engineering standards across teams.

In this hands-on role, you will mentor engineers, drive security-conscious design, and influence multiple squads across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software engineering with cross-team influence at Staff/Principal level.
• Recent experience bringing LLM-based systems into production, not just prototypes.
• Strong fundamentals in coding, API design, concurrency, data modelling, testing, CI/CD and containerised deployment.

Responsabilités

• Build enterprise agentic framework for orchestration, retrieval and collaboration among multiple agents and tools.
• Write production-grade code across production services, experimentation harnesses and internal tooling.
• Make AI systems measurable and trustworthy with evals, guardrails, telemetry and latency monitoring.
• Set security standards in collaboration with platform, architecture and security teams, and contribute to engineering governance.
• Mentor colleagues, lead technical discussions, review code and promote engineering excellence.
• Define architectural guidelines and guide multiple teams toward iterative, autonomous development.
