Propellerhead is seeking an experienced, AI-native Systems Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Auckland. Hybrid work with in-office attendance three days per week is required.

You will optimise cloud architectures, automation, and reliability across our deployments, collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders to reduce costs and improve supportability. You thrive on AI-assisted workflows, drive continuous improvement, and mentor teams while maintaining calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site/Systems Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer or equivalent role.
• Agentic-first: comfortable using AI to diagnose, script, automate and document in an AI-assisted delivery pipeline.
• Expertise developing scalable web applications.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar.

Responsabilités

• Design cloud deployment architectures on Azure with core development teams.
• Provision deployment environments including servers, services and networking; liaise with stakeholders.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance in solution architectures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using suitable toolsets and automation.
