AI-Powered Product Director for Compliance Platform

Job summary

Dotfile is seeking a highly technical Product Director to shape and build the next generation of an AI-native Compliance OS for financial institutions. You will own end-to-end product areas, work with engineers and designers, and prototype AI-enabled solutions while coaching a small team.

You will drive product thinking at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Design, and customers, focusing on robust systems and observable outcomes, including automated compliance workflows and scalable data

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building software products, with ownership of B2B or infrastructure products
• Ability to manage and develop product people while staying close to the product
• Comfort discussing APIs, data models, system architecture, integrations and trade-offs with engineers
• Systems thinking to understand primitives, abstractions and interactions for scalability
• Hands-on approach: depth in data, prototyping and direct collaboration with engineers
• AI is embedded in work; use LLMs, coding tools and agents to research and prototype

Responsibilities

• Own major product areas end-to-end from problem understanding to shipping and iteration
• Lead and develop a small Product team with high standards
• Turn complex compliance workflows into scalable product experiences across customers and jurisdictions
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design on architecture, data models, workflows and trade-offs
• Design how AI agents interact with data, users, and systems to investigate cases and automate work
• Prototype ideas quickly using AI and modern tools to validate concepts
• Spend significant time with customers and internal teams to identify problems and translate into product capabilities
• Define clear measures of product success using data and feedback to iterate
