Mirakl is seeking a Legal Counsel to design, implement, and oversee AI-related legal strategies in Paris with one remote day per week. You will advise on technology transactions, data privacy, and AI governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant deployment of AI tools.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in tech-legal roles, in-house experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach to manage regulatory risk while enabling business growth.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of legal experience with a focus on technology transactions, privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, or IP.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape and experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements.
• Prior in-house experience at a tech company or organization undergoing digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience advising on development, procurement or deployment of AI or ML systems; familiarity with legal ops tools and processes.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation tools to streamline core legal workflows from contract review to regulatory monitoring.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor on the selection, procurement, and integration of AI-powered tools across the legal function, defining policies and guardrails.
• Lead strategic transformation of the legal department by improving efficiency, cycle times, and service quality through tech and process innovation.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Ops, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end legal operations including matter management and dashboards.
• Develop and deliver training for legal, compliance, and business teams on AI-related topics, fostering responsible AI adoption.
