Mirakl’s Global Legal team in Paris is seeking a Legal Counsel for Innovation and Transformation to lead AI-enabled legal initiatives and strategic change.

You will design, build, and deploy AI agents, set policies for responsible use, and oversee the procurement and integration of tech tools across the legal function.

The role drives efficiency, reduces cycle times, and partners with Finance, Procurement, and Compliance to enable scalable, compliant governance of technology programs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of legal experience focusing on technology transactions, privacy, data protection, or intellectual property.
• In-house experience at a technology company or during significant digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience advising on development, procurement, or deployment of AI or machine learning systems; familiarity with legal ops tools and processes.
• Knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape and experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to streamline core legal workflows — from contract review and clause analysis to regulatory monitoring and internal knowledge management.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor on the selection, procurement, and integration of AI-powered tools across the legal function, defining policies, standards, and guardrails for responsible agentic use.
• Lead the strategic transformation of the legal department's operations by identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve the quality of legal services through technology and process innovation.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and cross‑functional teams to optimize end‑to‑end legal operations — including matter management, vendor oversight, budgeting, CLM systems, and performance dashboards.
• Develop and deliver training programs for legal, compliance, and business teams on AI‑related legal and regulatory topics, fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption.
