Job environment

Within the General Purchasing Department, we are recruiting a Group Buyer for the IT/hardware category. This category accounts for about 50 million euros in group spending and covers sub-categories such as hardware, software, hosting, network, video conferencing, telecommunications, audiovisual, and WAN.

Reporting to the Head of General Purchasing, you will work with the project community: IT project managers, operational teams, legal, finance, in an international context.

You will operate in a performance-oriented environment focused on economic performance and risk management, and you will be proactive in proposing ideas and challenging internal clients on their needs and supplier choices.

The challenges we will tackle together

• You will be responsible for purchasing equipment for employees, local equipment (audiovisual, meeting rooms, multifunction devices), as well as telephony and software (collaborative and infrastructure): anticipation, security, and economic performance are your guiding principles.
• You will contribute annually to defining the purchasing strategy for the category: market analysis, expenditure analysis, benchmarking, contractual and supplier risk analysis to ensure optimal purchasing modalities.
• Your recommendations are essential to adapt the strategy based on market opportunities.
• You will define action plans, activity schedules, and KPIs to guide and monitor your daily actions aligned with the overall strategy.

About you

You have at least 3 years of experience as an IT / DSI buyer, with proven expertise in IT, Telecom, or within an IT department.

English proficiency is essential for working in this environment.

Mastery of SAP is a plus.

You possess strong negotiation skills, excel in client relations, and are adept at analyzing and synthesizing strategic issues.

Travel will be required.
