Job summary

Education First in Paris is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to own monthly close, statutory accounting, VAT/compliance, and process improvements, working with our finance operations team, BPO provider, and external advisors.

This role carries full responsibility for accounting outputs and is suited to someone who enjoys detail, accuracy, and owning financials in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, controls and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Manage monthly close, trial balances, reconciliations, and year-end close.
• Prepare VAT, CIT, and statutory filings with external advisors.
• Liaise with BPO provider on R2R, O2C, and P2P performance.
• Prepare audit materials and internal reports with internal controls.
• Drive standardization, automation, and system rollouts.
• Collaborate with regional and centralized teams.
