Job summary

PUR is seeking a Head of Accounting in Paris to oversee the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the group’s financial reporting. You will lead a two-person accounting team and coordinate with regional managers across LATAM, Africa, and Asia, ensuring robust controls and timely closings.

You will drive statutory compliance, consolidation, and group-wide accounting standards while supporting ERP optimization and cross-border processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• DEC/CPA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• 8+ years of accounting experience in an international environment.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing audits.
• Multi-country accounting exposure preferred.
• Audit firm experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and international standards.
• Consolidation, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for Group entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions per local GAAP and group policies.
• Review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Coordinate preparation of statutory financial statements and audits.
• Oversee consolidation and group reporting for regional entities.
• Strengthen internal controls and automate processes where possible.
• Support treasury activities and working capital management.
• Manage two accounting team members and foster development.
