French Accounting Lead: Build & Scale Global Finance

GoGlobal is seeking its first dedicated French accounting hire to own full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of French entities and to define the operating model behind it. You will be the local expert, bridging French statutory requirements with a global delivery business and shaping how we scale France.

This role requires hands-on experience with French GAAP, VAT and statutory reporting, and the ability to design scalable processes and controls for our growing French portfolio.

Competenze

• 5+ years in French accounting, gained in practice, at an outsourced provider, or in a shared‑services environment.
• Hands-on experience preparing full sets of accounts under French GAAP and the plan comptable général.
• Working knowledge of French VAT and the statutory reporting cycle — FEC, liasse fiscale, CVAE, DAS2, and CFE.
• Fluent French and business‑level English.
• Experience building processes, controls, or ways of working from scratch — in a new market, a new service line, or a start‑up environment.
• Proficiency in at least one French accounting platform (Sage, Cegid, Pennylane, or similar), and comfort working inside a client’s own system.
• Experience managing your own client portfolio.
• Comfort with AI‑assisted tools, and an interest in using them well.

Mansioni

• Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of French entities — bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, management reporting, and supporting schedules.
• Deliver to each client’s reporting calendar and template, including tight statutory and client close deadlines.
• Run the payment cycle for your entities, with sound controls around it.
• Prepare VAT (CA3) returns and the schedules supporting CVAE, DAS2, CFE, the liasse fiscale, and the annual accounts.
• Own e-invoicing set-up and compliance under the French mandate.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for the clients in your portfolio, and represent GoGlobal with clients, auditors, and the French authorities, in French.
• Explain French requirements in terms a non‑French finance team can act on.
