Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting for our French entity. You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements under US GAAP in collaboration with external advisors, and monitor French VAT returns and statutory filings.

You will liaise with external tax advisors, auditors and authorities in France, handle AR/AP and GL, execute intercompany transactions, and support automation of accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on Accounting or Finance
• Several years of professional experience in French accounting
• Solid knowledge of French accounting practices and VAT
• Experience preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Experience working in an international environment and with intercompany processes
• Excellent written and spoken French and English
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is an advantage
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
