Job Title: Senior General Accountant
Your Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the monthly and annual closing processes of the French entity in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting standards, in collaboration with the Accounts Payable team, and contribute to the reliability of the accounts (general ledger, tax, fixed assets, bank, intercompany, prepaid expenses, provisions, inventories) to ensure a fast and accurate closing process;
- Prepare documentation related to cash flow management and forecasting for the French entity;
- Prepare, in coordination with the Accounting Director, audit files related to the statutory accounts and US GAAP reporting of the French entity;
- Prepare tax documentation (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, transfer pricing, etc.) in close collaboration with the Accounting Director and the local expert;
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and provide variance analysis for monthly balance sheet and profit & loss review meetings;
- Ensure compliance with the company's and the group's accounting and internal control policies;
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes in order to strengthen controls over financial reporting;
- Participate in new accounting projects (with the support of the Accounting Director and the Finance Director).
Profile We Are Looking For
- You hold a degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum Bachelor's degree level: DCG, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent) and have at least 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Your perseverance, organizational skills, team spirit, and curiosity will be key assets for succeeding in this role.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with Finance, Commercial, HR, and Management teams.
- The working language is French; proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential to thrive in an international environment.
- Knowledge of US GAAP standards is desirable.
- You have a strong command of Excel.
- You are proactive and actively contribute to the optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.
- An interest in AI and its application to improving financial and accounting processes would be appreciated.
Compensation & Benefits
- Location: Boulogne-Billancourt
- Contract: Permanent contract
- Remote work: Up to 3 days of remote work per week
- Benefits: 1 RTT day per month, CE (works council), profit‑sharing, vacation bonus, meal vouchers, 2/3 of health insurance covered, reimbursement of up to 50% of transport costs.
