Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC Malaysia) is seeking an Account Executive to join our Head Office team.

The role covers daily accounting operations, AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations and financial record-keeping. You will liaise with banks, auditors, and internal departments, ensuring compliance with Malaysian standards and SST regulations. We require at least 5 years of experience and fluency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in speaking and writing in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to commence work immediately.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims, reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor outstanding payments, receivables, and payables with timely follow-up and settlement.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing, audits, and preparation of supporting documents.

Job description

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (CCCCM) is looking for a qualified and motivated Account Executive to join our Head Office team.

Key responsibilities

Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounting schedules, and supporting documentation.

Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims, reimbursements, and other financial transactions.

Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow statements.

Monitor outstanding payments, receivables, and payables, ensuring timely follow-up and settlement.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing, annual audits, and preparation of supporting documents for auditors.

Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, SST requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and relevant internal departments on accounting and financial matters.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

Proficient in speaking and writing in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia

Able to commence work immediately
