Northern Kentucky University (NKU) invites applicants for the Academic Specialist position within the College of Informatics. This person will serve as the first contact for students and other visitors, and will assist with phone calls, mail sorting, and other office duties.

Some budgeting will also be included. The Academic Specialist will support multiple tasks in a fast-paced office, collaborate with staff, and ensure clear communications with students and visitors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with two years of related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and reliability.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.

Associate’s degree plus two years of related experience required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, trustworthiness, self‑starter, and ability to multi‑task. Must also be able to work with a diverse population, and knowledge of SAP a plus.
