Job summary

Burgess Recruitment is seeking a 3rd Steward(ess) for a 70m+ motor yacht. The role blends housekeeping and service on a floating vessel, with emphasis on high standards, team spirit, and guest entertainment at themed events.

The ideal candidate is bubbly, positive and enthusiastic, able to support interior operations and contribute to a close-knit crew. Start date TBC; location SoF with EU work rights required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years in yachting.
• All relevant certificates in hand.
• Proactive, organised, hands-on personality.
• Great team player and willing to contribute positively to the interior team.
• Must have right to live & work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping standards and ensure the housekeeping team operates efficiently.
• Support and guide junior stewardesses.
• Assist with service as required during guest trips.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards.

This is a floating role between housekeeping and service, the ideal candidate will be flexible and confident in both departments.

The ideal candidate will be naturally bubbly, positive, fun, and enthusiastic who genuinely enjoys being part of a close-knit team. Themed events, shows, guest entertainment is huge onboard so candidates must be happy to embrace this fun aspect.

Requirements

• Must have between 2-3 years’ in yachting
• All relevant certificates in hand
• Proactive, organised, hands-on personality

• Must have right to live & work in the EU

Responsibilities

• Primarily focused on overseeing housekeeping standards & ensuring the housekeeping team operates efficiently
• Supporting and guiding junior stewardesses
• Assist with service as required during guest trips
• Lead by example & maintain high standards

Start date: TBC

Location: SoF

Salary: EUR 4000

Leave: 60 days - cannot be taken between 1 May and 1 November due to the operational schedule.

Vessel Program and itinerary: Single season light-charter/private vessel- shipyard period coming up.
