Job summary

Burgess recruitment is seeking a Purser for a 70m+ yacht to join a busy crew in SOF. The role requires at least 3 years’ experience on large yachts, ENG1, STCW, and strong organisational skills to oversee all administrative functions on board, including budgets and inventories.

Start date: November/December. Location: SOF. Salary: 7000 EUR. Leave: 8:8. Vessel Program includes Private & Charter with a short shipyard period in the South of France.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years experience as Purser on large yachts.
• ENG1, STCW and other yachting certifications in hand.
• Relevant Purser qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative functions on board, including budgets, accounts and inventory systems.
• Manage guest itineraries, customs and port clearances.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain operational efficiency.

Burgess recruitment is seeking a Purser for a 70m+ yacht.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Purser to join a dynamic crew on a busy yacht.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years+ experience as Purser on large yachts
• ENG1, STCW and any other yachting certifications in hand
• Relevant Purser qualifications and experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a dynamic environment
• Confident in overseeing all administrative functions on board, managing budgets, accounts and inventory systems
• Able to manage guest itineraries, customs and port clearances
• Collaborate closely with department heads to maintain operational efficiency
• Schengen visa required

Start date: November/December

Location: SOF

Salary: 7000 EUR

Leave: 8:8

Vessel Program and itinerary: Private& Charter – Short shipyard period in South of France and plans to winter in the Med
