Job summary

Burgess recruitment is seeking a Chief Steward(ess) for a 70m+ motor yacht to lead interior operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be hands-on, inspire the team, and uphold the Burgess service standards. Requirements include STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2, and prior Chief Steward(ess) experience on large vessels.

Start date in November/December; location: SOF. Salary: 7250 EUR; Leave: Rotational 8:8.

Qualifications

• STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2 up to date.
• Previous Chief Steward(ess) on similar sized vessels.
• Proficiency in provisioning, inventory, and interior administration.

Job description

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Steward(ess) for a 70m+ motor yacht.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Chief Stewardess who leads by example, inspires their team, and delivers exceptional standards of service and guest experience.

Requirements:

• STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2 essential and up to date
• Previous experience as Chief Steward(ess) on similar sized or larger vessels
• Confident across all areas of the interior, including service, housekeeping, wine knowledge and bartending
• Competent in interior administration, including provisioning, inventory, and daily team coordination.
• Comfortable handling guest requests, making reservations, and managing bookings with professionalism and attention to detail
• A great leader who supports junior crew and maintains high standards across all interior operations
• Schengen visa required.

Start date: November/December

Location: SOF

Salary: 7250 EUR

Leave: Rotational 8:8

Vessel Program and itinerary: Private& Charter – Short shipyard period in South of France and plans to winter in the Med
