Job summary

Schneider Electric in Espoo, Finland is seeking a Tender Engineer to prepare technical solutions, costing, and pricing for customer projects, and to analyze RFP requirements to develop compelling tender proposals.

You will ensure comprehensive management of all offer aspects: technical proposals, costing, finance, terms and conditions, and project setup, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with tendering processes and proposal development.
• Strong communication skills in Finnish (mandatory) and English.

Overview

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking a Tender Engineer to join our Espoo, Finland office. As part of a team that drives innovative and sustainable technologies across homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industry, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence in the Nordics and Baltic regions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical solutions and create accurate costing and pricing for customer projects.
• Analyze technical requirements in RFPs to develop tender proposals aligned with customer needs and project objectives.
• Ensure comprehensive management of all offer aspects: technical proposal, costing, finance, cash flow, terms & conditions, project setup, hours, taxes, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tendering processes and tools, sharing insights and expertise to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational degree (Electrical Engineer or Cooling Engineering preferred).
• Experience in tendering, project management, or related roles within the secure power industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of secure power system engineering principles and tendering of secure power system solutions is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing environment and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations.
• Effective communication skills in Finnish (mandatory) and English.
