Job summary

Schneider Electric in Espoo, Finland seeks a Tender Engineer to drive technical tendering and pricing for customer projects. You will analyze RFQs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure all financial aspects are aligned with project objectives while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes secure power systems knowledge, strong Finnish language skills, and the ability to work across Nordic and Baltic markets in a growing, international environment.

Qualifications

• Educational degree in Electrical engineering or cooling engineering preferred.
• Experience in tendering or project management within the secure power industry is beneficial.
• Understanding of secure power system engineering and tendering is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication in Finnish and English (Finnish is mandatory).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Preparing technical solutions and costing/pricing for customer projects
• Analyze technical project requirements in request for quotations to develop tender proposals that align with customer needs and project objectives
• Ensure mastery of all aspects of the offer: technical proposal, costing, finance, cash flow, etc.
• Ensure consistency and interfaces, terms and conditions, project setup and hours, taxes, lessons learnt, etc.
• Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for tendering processes and tools, leveraging insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Educational degree in Electrical engineering or cooling engineering preferred
• Previous experience in tendering, project management, or related roles within the secure power industry is beneficial but not mandatory, as we will support your growth
• General understanding of secure power system engineering principles and tendering of secure power system solutions is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements and customer expectations
• Effective communication skills in Finnish and English (Finnish is mandatory)
