Job summary

Schneider Electric in Espoo, Finland seeks a Tender Engineer to drive technical tendering and pricing for customer projects. You will analyze RFQs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure all financial aspects are aligned with project objectives while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes secure power systems knowledge, strong Finnish language skills, and the ability to work across Nordic and Baltic markets in a growing, international environment.

Qualifications

• Educational degree in Electrical engineering or cooling engineering preferred.
• Experience in tendering or project management within the secure power industry is beneficial.
• Understanding of secure power system engineering and tendering is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication in Finnish and English (Finnish is mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical solutions and costing for customer projects.
• Analyze technical requirements in RFQ to develop tender proposals that align with customer needs and project objectives.
• Ensure mastery of all aspects of the offer: proposal, costing, finance, cash flow, etc.
• Ensure consistency and interfaces, terms and conditions, project setup and hours, taxes, lessons learnt, etc.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tendering processes and tools.
