Job summary

ABB Marine & Ports in Finland seeks a Technical Property Manager to own the maintenance and long-term development of our facilities in Helsinki, Hamina and Raisio. Based in Vuosaari, you will lead the technical lifecycle, manage budgets and coordinate service providers to keep HVAC, electrical and safety systems reliable and compliant.

You will drive energy-efficiency improvements in line with ISO standards, engage with management and external partners, and travel 20–30 days per year to Hamina

Qualifications

• Relevant education and several years of experience in property management, building services or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance and facility lifecycle management.
• Experience in contractor management, procurement, budgeting and project supervision.
• Understanding of energy efficiency and ISO standards (ISO 50001/14001/45001/27001).
• Strong safety mindset and good collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and technical lifecycle of the facilities and building systems.
• Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, renovations and technical investments, including budgets, schedules, quality and costs.
• Ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, building automation, fire safety, access control, security and other technical systems.
• Develop and maintain long-term maintenance and investment plans (PTS).
• Manage facility service providers, contractors and related technical service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, authority requirements, safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Drive energy-efficiency and sustainability improvements, including activities related to ISO 50001.
• Coordinate contractors, work permits, site inductions and acceptance of completed works.
• Acting as project manager for smaller upcoming business needs.
• Act as the technical point of contact for management, employees, landlords, authorities and external partners.

Our facilities include manufacturing, warehouse and office space in 3 buildings in Helsinki, Hamina and Raisio, totalling over 30000 m2.
