Job summary

Trinnovo Group | B Corp™ is seeking a hands-on Team & Tech Lead to join a new Finland-based venture. You’ll build your own engineering team, set the technical direction, and stay close to the code while embedding AI into software development.

You’ll influence product strategy and work with international teams, Product, and UX to deliver a cohesive technical roadmap. The Finnish product is at pre-launch, offering early ownership and meaningful impact.

We’re looking for a hands-on Team & Tech Lead to join an exciting new venture launching in Finland.

This is a rare opportunity to combine people leadership, technical ownership and genuine product influence. You’ll build your own engineering team from the ground up, set the technical direction and remain close to the code. At the same time, you’ll play a key role in shaping how AI is embedded into the way we build and operate software.

You’ll be joining a well established, well funded international group with a proven product already operating successfully in another European market. The Finnish product is approaching launch, giving you the opportunity to join at an early stage and have a meaningful influence on what comes next.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams
• A strong track record of building trust, developing people and leading through empowerment
• Strong, current hands-on experience with Next.js, including App Router, Server Functions and Server Components
• Strong TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3 experience
• Genuine experience using AI within software engineering, rather than simply an interest in AI
• Experience designing or implementing dependable AI agents and automation
• A strong you build it, you run it mindset, with experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining web applications
• Experience working within ecommerce or D2C environments
• The ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• Strong architectural thinking combined with a willingness to get into the detail
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different locations and disciplines
• Willingness to travel regularly to Hamburg

You’ll build your own team, rather than inheriting an existing structure. You’ll have genuine ownership of the technical direction while continuing to work hands-on. And you’ll have a seat at the table as we explore how AI can fundamentally improve the way engineering teams build software.

You’ll also be joining at an exciting point in the product journey.

The Finnish product is a new localised raffle concept, giving customers the opportunity to win a fully furnished Finnish dream home while supporting a charitable partner. The concept is already proven in another European market, giving the Finnish team an established foundation while leaving plenty of room to shape the product and technology locally.

You’ll be joining pre-launch, building the Finnish engineering capability around an already implemented D2C platform, with the backing, resources and experience of an established international group.
