Futurice Oy is seeking a highly capable AI-capable Full-stack Developer to join our Next Gen Value Streams services. You will develop complex, full-stack digital services and contribute to architecture decisions, collaborating closely with clients to deliver practical AI-powered outcomes.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup near our Finland offices, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud platforms, while continuously upskilling and aligning with client needs across industries.

Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI tools and multi-agent workflows that drive business value.
• Professional software development experience, ideally in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Full-stack development using modern frameworks (React/Vue) and languages (TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, .NET).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in system design, data modeling, and APIs.

About the role

Join our Next Gen Value Streams services team, a specialized pool of around 50 team members dedicated to reimagining how organizations function. We don't just automate tasks; we architect intelligent, adaptive workflows that connect disconnected data and turn manual work into a source of competitive advantage. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects—like building AI assistants for research at Neste, accelerating sales cycles at KONE, or developing tools that revolutionize editorial workflows. Your goal is to help clients bridge the gap between "AI hype" and real-world business impact. As an AI-capable Full-stack Developer, you are much more than a programmer - you're capable of leveraging the latest innovations in AI-native development to deliver impactful business results to your clients. With experience from multiple complex projects, you bring clarity in uncertainty and deliver real impact through both code and collaboration. You thrive in full-stack environments and are comfortable switching between backend and frontend contexts and foster high standards for software quality and maintainability. Your days might include implementing sophisticated features, navigating technical roadblocks, reviewing PRs. Most importantly, you approach each challenge with curiosity, ownership, and care for the people you're building for.

We work in five different service lines in Nordic level, and you can read here some more about our other Service Lines. We offer hybrid working mode, but you’ll need to be located near one of our Finland offices (Helsinki or Tampere). Please note, we are currently unable to provide relocation support.

Skills and requirements

As a Full-stack Developer we don't expect one person to be a master of everything, but we hope you bring a combination of the following traits and experiences:

• Experience in more than just prompting AI agents. Identify how skills and multi-agent setups can be used to create real business value to our clients. Effectively monitor and observe agent interactions to find potential bottlenecks and fine-tune agentic workflows. Bring in relevant expertise in compounding and setting up adequate guardrails for a project beyond writing code, but to enhance entire processes within a project
• A proficiency with agentic AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to speed up and improve how you build software.
• Professional experience in software development, ideally within a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Full-stack coding experience, with the ability to build apps from front to back using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and languages like TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or .NET.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and setting up CI/CD pipelines to keep deployments running smoothly.
• Experience in system design, including data modeling and APIs, and making smart choices when picking between technical paths.
• A collaborative approach to agile teamwork, ensuring both developers and non-technical stakeholders stay on the same page.
• Experience in writing clean, high-quality code that is well-tested, documented, and easy for others to maintain.
• Professional working proficiency in both Finnish and English.

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves. During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits. For this Fullstack Developer role the on-target compensation varies between 3498-5018€ on a monthly basis depending on the career level.
