Job summary

UPM is seeking a Project Management Office Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic projects across commercial, technical and leadership functions in Helsinki or other Finnish locations and Germany.

You will set agendas, manage risks and budgets, drive governance, reporting, and continuous improvement of PM processes, while coordinating with senior stakeholders and ensuring timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in project management delivering complex cross-functional programs.
• Proven track record managing senior stakeholders with credibility and diplomacy.
• Experience with governance, meeting facilitation, action tracking and reporting rhythms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to present updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of key strategic projects end-to-end with timelines and milestones.
• Hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables and follow-ups across teams.
• Run project governance meetings, set agendas and capture decisions.
• Maintain PM templates, trackers and documentation for consistent reporting.
• Coordinate operating rhythm of the commercial management team and critical meetings.
