Job summary

UPM is seeking a Project Management Office Manager (m/f/d) to lead end-to-end strategic projects across Helsinki, Lappeenranta, and Leuna. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and reporting, and drive best practices in governance and project execution.

You will work closely with the Director Commercial Development and executive stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and clear communication across commercial, technical, and leadership functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management delivering complex cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders with credibility and diplomacy.
• Proven governance, meeting facilitation and reporting rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of strategic projects end-to-end with timelines and milestones.
• Escalate risks early and ensure accountability across teams.
• Run project meetings with agendas, decisions and action items.
• Maintain templates, trackers and documentation for consistent reporting.
• Coordinate commercial, technical and leadership functions for alignment.
• Report project status to senior leadership with concise dashboards.
