Job summary

Patria Oyj in Helsinki seeks an experienced M&A Manager to drive acquisitions, divestments, and partnerships as part of our growth strategy. You will manage the transaction lifecycle from target screening to execution, coordinating with Business Areas, Finance, Legal and senior management.

The role requires a Master’s degree in finance and 5–6 years in corporate M&A or related fields, with strong financial modelling, due diligence coordination and cross‑functional leadership to shape Patria’s

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Approximately 5–6 years of relevant experience in corporate M&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated experience in acquisition and divestment transactions.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise.
• Experience leading cross‑functional projects.
• Corporate finance and valuation expertise.
• Experience of M&A process management and financial modelling.
• Ability to handle due diligence coordination.
• Strategic analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the Group’s M&A pipeline.
• Assess acquisition, divestment, joint venture, and partnership opportunities.
• Evaluate inbound opportunities and investment proposals.
• Manage transactions from assessment through closing.
• Prepare investment cases, valuations, and Board materials.
• Coordinate internal experts and external advisors.
• Develop financial models and valuations.
• Assess performance, opportunities, synergies, and value creation.
• Prepare transaction and investment recommendations.
• Support portfolio and strategic reviews.
• Contribute to strategy and growth planning.
• Assess investments in emerging technologies and adjacent markets.
