Job summary

CapMan is seeking a Manager in Strategy & Corporate Development to join the Group CFO’s leadership team. The role involves managing M&A projects, building long-term financial models, and coordinating cross-functional activities to support CapMan’s growth strategy.

The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a higher education degree, and strong analytical and presentation skills. Finnish and English fluency is essential, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience from working within investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate development, or similar
• Higher education degree in a relevant area
• Strong analytical skills with a good command of PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
• Fluency in Finnish and English
• Strong drive, proactiveness and team player skills
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Managing M&A projects from opportunity screening to execution and integration, as well as external and internal corporate development initiatives
• Developing and maintaining long-term financial models and forecasts to support strategy, capital allocation and business planning
• Acting as a project leader, coordinating activities across investment teams, support functions and external advisors
• Assessing market trends, competitive dynamics and growth opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board
• Facilitating group strategy processes, including identification of new opportunities, analysis, planning, documentation and follow-up of strategic priorities
• Preparing decision‑making materials, business cases and presentations for senior management, the Board and other key stakeholders
