Job summary

The National Land Survey of Finland in Mikkeli seeks a permanent service advisor in customer service starting 1 Oct 2026 (or by agreement). The role involves providing advice and information on real estate procedures, ownership registrations, electronic services, and maps, to authorities, companies, and private customers.

You will work as part of a service advisor team and handle counter, phone, chat, web forms, and email inquiries, making official decisions on apartment ownership registrations

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or advisory roles.
• Ability to provide information and guidance to a range of customers.
• Wamiliar with real estate or land administration procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and information services on real estate procedures, ownership registrations, electronic services, and maps for authorities, companies and private customers.
• Process registrations of apartment ownership and related official decisions.
• Answer inquiries via counter, telephone, chat, web forms, and email.
• Coordinate customer service shifts within the service advisor team and support onboarding.

Job description

The Information Services unit is responsible for the information services provided to the National Land Survey of Finland's customers regarding real estate, apartments, geospatial data, and maps. Our customers include private individuals, authorities, and companies. Approximately 140 people work in service advisor roles within the unit.

We are seeking a service advisor for a permanent position in customer service starting 1.10.2026 (or by agreement) at the National Land Survey of Finland's Mikkeli office.

Work in the National Land Survey's customer service is diverse and varied. No two work weeks are the same. As a service advisor, you provide advice and information services to authorities and other customers regarding, among other things:

• real estate procedures (e.g., subdivisions, boundary determinations, privatization procedures)
• registration of ownership of real estate and apartments
• the National Land Survey's electronic services and
• maps

As a service advisor, you also make official decisions regarding the registration of apartment ownership.

Customer service is provided at the counter as well as nationwide via telephone, chat, web forms, and email. You will work as part of a service advisor team that coordinates customer service shifts at the service point. The team will also assist and support you in your orientation to the job tasks.
