Job summary

Tampereen Datapiste Oy (TDP) is seeking a SERVER/INFRA SPECIALIST to join our Nokia office. You will manage IT infrastructure, servers, and monitoring, provide on-site support, and help develop modernized environments for industrial customers.

The role emphasizes Windows and Linux server maintenance, virtualization (Proxmox), cloud familiarity (Hetzner/Amazon), and willingness to learn AI tools. Finnish and English language skills are required, with a valid B-driving license.

Qualifications

• At least a few years of work experience in IT infrastructure.
• Experience in maintenance and development of Windows and Linux servers, possibly cloud servers (Hetzner/Amazon).
• Experience in virtualization (Proxmox or similar).
• Experience with AI tools or strong enthusiasm to learn them.
• Excellent Finnish and English language skills (customers are mainly Finnish-speaking).
• B-driving license.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure and servers: monitoring, backup supervision, development, network maintenance and documentation.
• Solve user support tickets (L1–L2): workstations and everyday usage problems.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Install devices and applications to working condition and provide on-site support if necessary.

TDP now welcomes to its ranks in Nokia a SERVER/INFRA SPECIALIST!

As a server specialist, you will work with our customers' cloud and user environments and act as a customer contact person. You will take care of the maintenance of customers' server and network infrastructure and help in solving disruption situations. You are responsible for the development of environments and can influence how customers' infrastructure could be modernized over a longer time horizon. Our industry is moving forward rapidly all the time, so we value the willingness to develop your own skills, for example, regarding AI tools.

In your work, you will mainly focus on the infrastructure management of industrial customers. However, job descriptions are broad in our small team, so we hope that you enjoy versatile tasks: occasionally you may also handle workstation-related problem situations or perform user management tasks.

In practice, during a working day you might, for example:

• Manage IT infrastructure and servers: monitoring, backup supervision, development, network maintenance and documentation

We hope for:

• At least a few years of work experience from the IT infrastructure side
• Experience in the maintenance and development of both Windows and Linux servers, possibly also cloud servers (Hetzner/Amazon)
• Experience in virtualization (Proxmox or similar)
• Experience in utilizing AI tools or at least great enthusiasm for learning them
• Excellent Finnish and English language skills (customers are mainly Finnish-speaking)
• B-driving license

Deep knowledge of the network side is considered an advantage.
