Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with Java experience to boost automation quality within Cards Product teams. You’ll contribute to automation, reduce manual testing, and drive data-driven testing across delivery squads.

The role invites independent ownership of features and collaboration with developers to improve test coverage. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of automation, senior Java skills, REST API testing, and experience with Git and CI/CD (Jenkins).

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing and maintaining test automation.
• Senior Java coding skills.
• Backend testing with REST API.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Unix/Linux experience is a plus.
• Experience with Python and Robot Framework is a plus.
• Cards domain knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated test cases together with framework improvements.
• Eliminate manual testing and trivial activities.
• Gather and manage test data needed for testing.
• Monitor, debug and document test results.
• Proactively increase test coverage.
