Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Strategic Quality Assurance Lead for Core Technology to drive QA strategy and maturity across the technology portfolio. The role focuses on Nordea Quality Standard (NQS) compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement, partnering with project managers and technology leaders to embed quality in the delivery lifecycle.

The position emphasizes strategic QA leadership, collaboration, and the adoption of modern testing practices including automation, with hybrid work

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, testing or quality engineering.
Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing and test automation.
Experience improving QA strategies, standards, governance or operating models.
Experience working with complex technology projects, programmes or portfolios.
Strong understanding of quality and technology risk management.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge established ways of working.
Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Drive QA strategy and maturity across Core Technology.
Define and drive QA/testing direction and improvement roadmap for Core Technology.
Promote a quality-first mindset and increase QA maturity across the organisation.
Act as a senior advisor on quality, testing and quality risk.
Establish transparency on NQS compliance and quality maturity.
