Job summary

VEO is strengthening its electrical design team and seeks an experienced Senior System Engineer. You will work on secondary design of substation projects and be responsible for implementing demanding design entities, including the design of control and protection systems as well as DC and AC systems.

You will mainly use Eplan and AutoCAD; collaborate with lead designers, project managers, and clients to meet requirements, standards, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in secondary design of substation projects.
• Design of control and protection systems as well as DC/AC systems of substations.
• Dimensioning calculations, cable routing design, and project design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor design progress and define technical solutions and design principles.
• Provide technical guidance to projects and mentor younger designers.
• Participate in primary design and commissioning of substations when needed.
