Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the Electrical Engineering Technology Support team in Hyvinkää. You will design electrical systems for equipment, including VFDs, LV distribution, PLCs and fieldbus communication, and generate the necessary documentation for manufacturing and customers.

You will collaborate with lead engineers, mechanical teams and suppliers to deliver robust power and control solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electrical designing with tools such as E3, Eplan or AutoCAD.
Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical or automation engineering.
Experience with international delivery projects.
Basic knowledge of inverters/VF drives and/or PLC.
Experience with TeamCenter or equal PLM tools is an advantage.
Fluency in English, Finnish or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

Make basic electrical calculations, power supply, drive selection, cable sizing, etc.
Create electrical documentation for manufacturing and final customer documentation.
Ensure that manufacturing has all project data needed for power and control systems.
Work closely with project coordination, Business Lines and manufacturing.
Support manufacturing in technical questions.
