Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Europe is seeking a Senior Project Planner to join the Project Controls team in the Nordic Operating Unit. Based in Vaasa, Finland or Västerås, Sweden, with hybrid working options, the role covers the full lifecycle of complex electrical substation projects from tender through handover.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical engineering or another relevant field.
• Project management certification (PMP® and/or PMI-SP®) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in planning and scheduling activities in complex projects and support project teams with schedule governance, analysis and decision making.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules in collaboration with project teams.
• Support predictable schedule forecasting by aligning time, cost, resources and progress.
• Identify schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities early and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Prepare schedule reports and analyses including critical path, resource histograms and milestones.
