Job summary

SEB is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to advance its Defender ecosystem and strengthen cloud security across Azure. You will join a product team to design, implement and operate security capabilities that empower our SOC and business stakeholders to protect the organization from modern threats.

The role emphasizes modernization, operational readiness, and long-term service ownership, bridging security platforms with cloud and security operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Defender ecosystem,Microsoft EntraIDand Sentinel.
• Understanding ofCloud Security principles, including Azure Securitywith a secure-by-design mindset.
• Proven background in Platform Engineering, Security Architecture, Governance, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Ability to bridge technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC)and business needs,translating requirements into scalable solutions for Threat Protection and Incident Response.
• A proactive approach to operational readiness and long-term service ownership within the Cyber Securityarea.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsand experience coaching of junior colleagues

About the role:
