Job summary

SEB Life & Pension is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to maintain and modernize critical applications while ensuring system stability and performance. You will focus on backend development in .NET, with opportunities to contribute to new capabilities and collaborate with frontend teams.

You will work in a multicultural environment with our development center in Kuala Lumpur and with teams across regions.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Several years of professional experience with .NET / .NET Core (multiple versions).
• Strong programming skills in C# and experience with MS SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs / Web Services.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Good communication skills and fluency in Swedish and English.

About the role

As a .NET Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting business‑critical applications that are essential to our daily operations. At the same time, you will contribute to the gradual modernization of our technology stack.

Your primary focus will be backend development in .NET, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of existing systems. While much of the work involves maintenance and continuous improvement, you will also have opportunities to help build new technical capabilities. Experience with frontend development is considered a plus, as we collaborate closely with teams working on our digital user interfaces.

You will also work in a multicultural and dynamic environment together with our development centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
