Job summary

GE HealthCare in Helsinki seeks a Senior RF Systems Engineer to shape the next generation of wireless medical technologies from concept to product release. You will drive radio system design and select technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi for patient monitoring applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent
• Hands‑on RF development experience from concept to release
• Strong understanding of radio fundamentals from component to system level
• Proficiency with RF design tools, simulators, and measurement instruments
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of radio system design from concept through release
• Develop and evaluate RF solutions for wireless medical systems (Bluetooth, MBAN, Wi‑Fi)
• Design RF hardware including schematics, PCB layouts, antennas, and related circuitry
• Plan and execute RF testing from RX/TX to system‑level performance
• Support radio certification activities (FCC, RED) per program needs
• Collaborate with hardware, software, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams
• Contribute to early‑stage technology development and RF roadmap
