Job summary

n8n is seeking a senior product leader to own the Core Platform strategy and roadmap, driving scalability, reliability, and security as usage grows. You will work with Engineering and Product leadership to prioritize foundational investments, manage migrations, and align cross-functional stakeholders across a rapidly evolving, remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product, with 2–3 years on platform, infrastructure, developer-facing, or backend/API products.
• Credible with senior engineers; able to reason about distributed systems and non-functional requirements.
• Led cross-team technical initiatives with real delivery risk, e.g., migrations or breaking changes.
• Able to make trade-offs explicit and connect foundational work to customer and business outcomes.
• Owns problems proactively and drives outcomes with minimal direction.
• Excellent communication of complex platform topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the Core Platform strategy and roadmap in collaboration with Engineering and Product leadership.
• Drive scalability and reliability of the execution engine and deployment setups.
• Lead major releases, migrations, and cross-org alignment; communicate trade-offs and risk.
• Bridge Core team with Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Support.
• Ensure internal platform teams view the Core Platform as customers and translate roadmaps into explicit work.
