Job summary

Nordhealth in Helsinki, Finland, is seeking an Engineering Manager for Platform Engineering to own the platform that powers engineering and product delivery—infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments, the security posture, and the tooling that engineers rely on. You’ll lead a team of 6–8 engineers, set direction, and remove blockers to enable fast, safe shipping.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring architectural judgment, on-call involvement, and a focus on developer

Qualifications

Experience leading platform engineering teams.
Hands-on expertise in cloud, infra, and security.
Proven ability to design scalable and reliable systems.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate platform infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments.
Own deployment pipelines, automation, and progressive delivery.
Define monitoring standards and incident response processes.
Set service levels and lead on-call duties.
Own the platform security framework and compliance controls.
Shape developer experience with internal tooling and self-service workflows.
Partner with software engineering and product teams to keep delivery moving.
Hire, coach, and evaluate engineers; run performance reviews and growth plans.
