Job summary

Glent Group, a leading civil, structural and architectural contractor, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our Helsinki team and promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture across Finland’s construction projects.

You will lead inspections, risk assessments, RAMS development, inductions and training while collaborating with clients, subcontractors and project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, safety and environment across construction projects.
• Knowledge of Finnish health and safety legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage with clients, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a proactive HSE culture across site and projects.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Develop, review and implement HSE procedures and RAMS.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and HSE training.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records and statutory documentation.
• Produce monthly HSEQ reports and monitor KPIs.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and authorities on HSE matters.
