Job summary

ONNEC Group Finland is seeking a Health & Safety Supervisor to join our Nordic team. This is a hands-on role where you will support project and site teams, ensuring health and safety compliance and helping drive a strong safety culture across our Finnish operations.

The position involves regular travel to customer sites, including data centres and construction environments. Fluent Finnish and English are required, with experience in HSE or related roles highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety, HSE or similar role.
• Experience in construction, data centres, engineering, telecommunications or technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of Finnish health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting site inspections and incident investigations.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Finland.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Support project and site teams with day-to-day health and safety matters.
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits; address risks and follow up actions.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish health and safety legislation and customer requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture across sites and teams.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain health and safety records and reporting.
• Coordinate and support HSE procedures and local working practices.
• Travel regularly to customer sites within Finland.
